Question about installing DLC

I have AC: Origins from Opoiso893 since he/she has the newest update but no DLC, and i want to use the DLC from DUPLEX.

My question is, can i just install the DLC straight away or do i need to remarry it to the base game just like an update file?

I also found this from psxhax but i still can't understand do i need to remarry the DLC files or not
