well, I didn't test it with any games. besides @Acid_Snake suggested enabling it and leaving it on. I'm mostly wanting the coldboot and gameboot to be removed with a recovery menu setting. it is with pro and lme.

It's disabled by default so I set it to "Always" and I'm not having problems but IIRC it also broke games on PRO-C.

just psp. it's not that unusual that it requires a game on the vita. adrenaline used to as well. that was my last vita tutorial. you had to go transfer the game from the ps3, enter idu mode, do a uri call to get into package manager, then install a free demo. I think the half-life demo was the smallest on psn at like 3MBs. that's how it used to be. now, it's easy as hell.

kiosk mode is what you'd encounter if you were testing a vita at a store. a uri call uses the browser to call certain apps among other thi8ngs. it used to be the only way to call the pkg installer. though, it only allowed free content to install and work. the ps4 can also use uri calls through the notifications section. it doesn't really do much, but you can create shortcuts for things.

Are idu and kiosk modes the same? What PKG installer are you talking about? Is it like the PS3's?

basically, you'd go into your account on psn, then there would be a file (forgot what type, but it's probably in my tutorial), then copy and paste the god link (yeah, sony allowed you to see them for psp without sniffing). then, that's what you'd install, but you'd have to grab it on the ps3 in order to get the license. it was a bit convoluted, but not so bad as long as you're patient.

HELP I THINK I BRICKED IT. IT SHOWS ONLY BLACK
what did you select in infinity? you may have to go into ofw by holding home while booting, then using chronoswitch with either a pup from 6.60, which I used, or 6.61. it will call the software updater. install that, then redo everything. the apps will boot even if on ofw. I guess sony fucked up pretty badly with the psp. lol

What do you mean by Sony allowed to see the PSN links without sniffing?
