Hey,
So i was cleaning my 3ds up ab bit (New Nintendo 3ds if ist helping) and i formated the System, while the 3ds was doing that, i powerd it of (because i was thinking it was allready finished). And now when i start it, the screens are staying black. Can someone help me? I already tried to softbrick it (when starting i clicked down the a,l,r,an up Button on the d-pad, but i didn't worked.

[…]I already tried to softbrick it[…]
Seems you were successful in softbricking the device. It has all functions of a brick.

Just kidding. This is not supposed to happen. More information needed.

Please clarify: Cleaning as in "just software side; deleting stuff" or as in "removing dirt" maybe even with opening the console.

Does your N3DS have custom firmware installed?

So holding those buttons to boot into the recovery mode didn't work for you? Weird.. Are you sure you were pressing and holding those buttons all the way, before clicking the power button?

Did you power it off like you normally would by pressing the power button and turning it off? If so, it's not that what caused this issue. It's the formatting, for some reason..

Are you sure? For how long you have this 3ds?

I would try removing the battery, and let it sit for a minute then plugging it back. Let it charge, and after it completes turn it on again.

+1 for the battery removal. Press power a few times without the battery to make 200% sure everything is discharged internally.

While you are at the battery, remove the SD as well for sake of completeness. I don't think it will be the cause.
====

If there was nothing that could have caused it hardware side (messing with the internals, dropping, water…) it is unlikely to be a hardware problem. Okay, possible, but it would be a strange coincidence.

For the case that those simple ideas don't have success, I try installing B9S with the help of ntrboot. Without GodMode9 there is not much we could do (short of sending it in to Nintendo which isn't a cheap method).

Pressing the power button without the battery in won’t do a single thing idk why people suggest that lol

Any power after the battery coming out is going to come from static electricity from people not doing things properly

Depending on what is/was connected to a device, it might still try turning on after cutting the power source. An SNES for example (at least European model) will do this; even visible to the naked eye:
Turn off SNES, then pull power plug from the wall. The power adapter still contains enough energy to turn on the system for a split second and the red power LED lights up while it tries to boot. Of course tiny capacitors inside a newer device aren't remotely enough to show any visible traces if they are charged.
The step of pressing (Power) might be redundant – most likely you are right and it is redundant on 3DS – but it takes less than two seconds to press that power button after removing the battery… and won't do harm. So there is no reason to not do it and/or end your sentence with a "lol".

Not sure.. So it's working fine now, no more black screens?
You can try updating it through the recovery mode by pressing "A+R+L+Up (D-pad)" on boot.
Also you can access GodMode9 when holding" start" on boot?
