how did you name the intern hdd folder "ps2" or "ps2iso" ?
is it a ps2 dvd game or ps2 cd game if its a cd game those will go in the ps1 folder instead of ps2 or they wont get recognised

Multiman converted it to a PS2 Classic, yet it wouldn't play for some reason.
Getting files to play sure ain't as easy as PS2/PS4.
i didnt know multiman could do that i do it still manually on pcPS2ISO.

and yeah that was my experience too i still cant load games from external or mount non ps2classic ps2 isos
if you're using cobra/cfw, you need ps2 games on the internal hdd. make sure cobra is enabled then launch the game. one sec, I'm on 4.89, I'll see if a ps2 game works for me. alright, no issues:

ive read at least 10 times on different sites that webman can mount isos from external and you dont need to convert the ps2 isos to ps2 classics etc
i hate that theres conflicting information out there its very confusing

I'm on 4.88 Evilnat and satisfied with it. I don't see any point upgrading to 4.89, anyway.
Turns out the solution to play PS2 games was super easy all along, just was not aware of it.
If you already have Apollo installed, activate your PS3 account, restart, and then it works. That simple.

Yeah. CFW is much nicer.

By the way, is there a way to hide PSN/Messages from the XMB? Or replace with something else?
This is fairly easy, so I'll keep it short. You need the xmb_plugin_normal.rco and the xmb_ingame.rco. Grab each from your dev_blind.
Then, extract with rco mage. After that, go into the main xml file, and delete the tiers you don't want from Object Tree/Page name/XMenu name/XMList name. After that's done, scroll to XMenu - menus: "0xa." Now, change that to reflect how many tiers you want. "0xa" = 10; "0x5" = 5. It's that simple.
