Try following steps:

1: Put in your Brawl Disc until you get the unable to read disc error
2: Then push and hold your power button about 4-5 seconds (RED LIGHT)
3: Now press the eject button the disc will come out
4: Reinsert your Brawl disc
5: Go into the DiscChannel and brawl should be able to start

If this did not work boot up the GCOS with DVD9 Support put in Brawl and then press to boot (it wont work) then reset ur wii and it should work

Wiikey-Update 1.9g seems to been successfull...

Game is showing up in the disc channel...

But then this error comes every time I try...

1. Have I made any mistake with updating? Can I make any mistake in this? It seems to be successfull but it isnt...

2. Its possible that I dont own a Wiikey? But then the update shouldnt have been working right? I tried with Wiid update v03 too but it hasnt changed anything.

3. Anyone got another clue?

Wii is on 3.1E, RegionFree Override: ON, 50Hz, English...I dont know what I can do more.

Also got an issue with a friends' wii here.

I'm using the 15% update trick to not get the duplicate channels.

But for some reason the disc with update works on my wii but doesnt on his. We got it modded at the same place, both with 3.1U and 1.9g firmware. I checked his wiikey settings region free is ON.

When I tried to re update the wiikey to 1.9g the testing update, failed. So I assume this is where the error is coming about, anyone know how to fix this? Oh also his Wii can still play all other burned games and Mario Galaxy so the 1.9G firmware is still working.
