Hacking what is the best way to convert video to play on a normal flashcart?

i would like to know the easiest and most reliable way to convert standard video formats (like AVI and MP4) into a video file t play on moonshell, preferably with little lag. i know of a free program for this, and i know that xilisoft video converter has an option for it, is there any surefire way?

When you download the moonshell package, it should include both the homebrew for the DS, and some windows tools like DPGenc.exe

DPGenc is simple to use, it can grab video from youtube links or it can convert videos locally.

DPGtools and you probably won't get any lag at all.

SUPER (google it) has an option to encode .DPG files. as jakob already said dpgtools is probably the best known and most widely used application.
