What do you hope to see revealed at E3 2021?

e3-2021-logo.jpg

It's that time of year again. After taking a break in 2020, E3 is back and ready to rock, with the usual press conferences scheduled from most of the industry's biggest players. E3 2021 will be the first time the show takes place since the launch of the most recent console generation, so it'd be easy to expect a ton of game announcements for the Xbox Series X|S or the PlayStation 5. This could also be a hugely important E3 for Nintendo, as it may finally put the Nintendo Switch Pro rumors to rest, or it'll actually confirm them after years of waiting. It'll also hopefully bring us new updates on games revealed at E3 2019, such as Breath of the Wild 2, The Elder Scrolls VI, Final Fantasy 16, and more.

With the show poised to kick off in only a matter of hours, why not share what you hope and expect to see from E3 2021, and what announcement would truly excite you if it happened?

oot (n64 version, not 3ds) on switch, mega man battle network collection, sora (kh) as smash dlc
Just curious, why would you prefer for OoT on Switch to be based on the N64 version and not the 3DS version? (I personally think if it pops up it should be built on the 3DS version but allow full camera control with the right stick like Majora's Mask on 3DS does). As far as I can recall, just about every change in the 3DS version was for the better. I wasn't much a fan of the hint system, but it's entirely optional, so I can't really fault that. Plus it includes an updated Master Quest as an unlock for beating the game, how can you not be in favor of a version that offers that?

Switch Pro + Metroid Prime 4 + New F-Zero + Golden Sun ported to the Switch.
While I'm certain Switch Pro is happening, it's pretty much a guarantee we wont see it at e3 at this point. The Direct is confirmed to only be focused on Software, so unless they separately launch the Pro trailer in the next few days before the Direct, or if they reveal it after in the Treehouse (really can't fathom that being where they announce it), it seems like a safe bet now to say we wont be seeing the Pro for this e3.

I'd like to see a new Rhythm Heaven announced for switch, it's one of my favorite game franchises at the moment
Nintendo doesn't give Rhythm Heaven enough attention. It's a great rhythm series that's all their own. I know it's not the most popular genre these days but it has it's audience that really isn't going anywhere. Hell, I'll still find opportunities to pull out Rock Band with my friends and just have a fun time.

almost every change was for the worse for me. the 3ds version is way too bright and colorful, the giant hint stones are atrocious, they censored a lot of stuff, removing blood, cleavage, etc, the atmosphere in general is worse but especially during the last boss fight against ganon (on n64 it was pretty dark and he was only lit by the occasional lightning flash, on 3ds the whole scene is completely bright at all times), young links model looks off in first person in the 3ds version when using a slingshot (his arm looks really fat for whatever reason), ...
theres more, but those are just a few things off the top of my head. those things may seem small or nitpicky to some, but oot on n64 is my favourite game of all time and i would want to have the best version for me personally.
master quest for n64 was already included in a zelda collection on gamecube, they could just include that one again

Well, we'll see what happens, but I have a few hopes.
MMBN anything . Legacy Collection for Switch, open world reboot, Smash fighter, anything.
The new Lego Star Wars game, I almost forgot that existed.
At least a tease of that Rockman Taisen leak, maybe? Might be too soon.
BOTW 2, not that I've played the first one yet, but I just got a Switch so I'll be doing that soon ish. Or maybe a child timeline trilogy? I know it's too much to ask for a Twilight Princess sequel, I'm not that nieve.
Metroid anything. Really, anything. Please.
I'm sure I'll think of more later. *Sigh*

A good Megaman game would be nice I guess since I already know Sonic is gonna be a disappointment. Plus the Remake of Sonic Colors will lack an "All 2D mode" so no remake of the DS version.

Any cool looking indie games and any first party stuff from Nintendo. I'd like to see more info on TES6 too so I know how many different console versions of the game I need to buy from our lord and savior Todd :creep:

Right, but I was pointing out the updated 3DS version of Master Quest specifically because it actually mirrors the maps making for a better Master Quest in my opinion.
