On a side note it seems that Compiled executables made with Autoit get a lot of false positives I suppose this is just another reason why I should learn a proper programming language.

@DS92 No idea, What version are you using? Have you downloaded the files from @mpham are you using your own prod.keys? I need more information to be able to help you fix your issues.

i am using the recent version, and yes ive downloaded the other tool also. maybe it doesnt work because im not using the latest prod.keys from my switch?

wish i could just request which ones i want done. but its fine maybe i'll find out how to do it myself.

I can't seem to get an icon to show its just a "?" icon?

What version of the tool are you using? The "?" normally means there's an issue with the icon you used, version 0.5 "Should" have fixed that by resizing all images to the correct size and format. if you are using 0.5 can you supply the icon image and setting you are using in the menu so I can take a look

I'm also having the issue with a few icons showing as ?, I've attached one of mine. Also any retroarch forwarder has "" around the title whereas any normal forwarders don't, can this be looked at please?

I'll take a look tomorrow had a hard disk failure today and spent most of it reinstalling Windows. I'm not sure why you are seeing the "" around the Forwarder name. In the code its there to fix an issue where if the Name had a space in it it would only see the first word.. I'll see if there's is another way around that. Could you take a screenshot of the gui just before you press the create button? I'd like to see if there's any reason why its doing the ? icon thing

I've figured where it's failing in the process so you get the ? issue. I just have no idea why or how to fix it at the moment I might not be able to as it's the function within AutoIt that's not working, the best I might be able to do is give you a warning if the conversion has failed. basically it's failing to load and convert the image so its essentially creating the forwarder without an icon to load. I wasn't able to create a retro arch forwarder with " " in it's name

Thanks, Glad it's working for you. Seems I have a few issues still however. I imagine there will be a v0.6 out at some point tomorrow even if its just to include a warning message when image conversion fails

Okay I might be getting somewhere with this it looks as though the image file you posted is actually a webp file with a png extension I uploaded your file to https://www.metadata2go.com/ and that's what it read from the images metadata. I'll add the afore mentioned error if the conversion fails.

Update.. I've been able to recreate the " " name issue, using non English characters seems to do it Changing Pokemon to Pokémon Causes it to happen, I'm not sure if this is caused by my gui or by the hacbrewpack I'll shall investigate

I found out that using a long name for the icon gives you the question mark, but if you use the same name as the homebrew, it works. I also had to make sure the icon image was a jpg and 256x256 format.

Also, I can't seem to get NXThemeInstaller forwarder to work right. It keeps giving a Key Extraction From FS Failed error. Is there a fix for this?

I think the NXThemeInstaller issue been mentioned before on @mpham thread for the tool, its not caused by the GUI so not anything I can fix sorry

The long fie names shouldn't cause issues. Can you please give me an example so I can look in to it?

788449cfe19e0e5733c270811de82b1e was the name of the image I was using before I renamed it.

That really shouldn't cause an issue, the only limitation would probably be the Windows 260 Character limit on a file path

e.g. c:\users\eddcase\desktop\really really long folder name.....\558661"]788449cfe19e0e5733c270811de82b1e.png

I'll add an error check if the file path is too long in v0.6

Thank you, that’s likely the issue, I did create the forwarder with an é in pokémon. Ahh I did not realise the image was like that, I will try converting it myself but an error would definitely help in this case. Thank you for your continued support on this tool, it’s fantastic <3
