Tinfoil is the easy way of get into RCM with out the jig. After that Autorcm then remove tinfoil if you think it will short the pin 4. :)

I'm having trouble injecting a payload. The site I got the software on my SD card from was listed as being updated to work with all versions up to 7.0.1 (which is what I have) and when I use TegraRCM to inject the payload, it freezes. Full not-responding. I know my Switch is in RCM mode because TegraRCM recognizes it. What can I do here? My switch isn't dead, because I can still get it to boot normally once I unplug it. I think I might have the wrong APX driver but I don't know how to check which one is active.

As long as you installed the APX driver using TegraRCM, I don't think you would have an incorrect driver.

Which version of tegraRCM are you running?

Which payload are you trying to inject?

Are you sure you have a hackable, as in non-Ipatched, Switch? Just because you can put it in RCM and Tegra detects it, doesn't mean it is hackable.

I’m also having trouble with this. I recently updated to the newest firmware. I forgot to update the atmosphere so I thought that would solve my problem. I’ve been sitting here trying to load into RCM for the past 20 minutes and everytime it keeps booting up normally

So much misinformation here.

RCM:

-Pin 10 on the rail/joycon needs to be grounded.
- Hold volume + and power

If it boots into RCM nothing happens, no backlight nothing. If u just press power it will boot normal.

USB does not need to be connected, that is only for when you execute a payload.

Do you have any pics of your setup?
i understand that but on my computer the rcm screen does not turn green there fore i cant inject payload. my switch does everything right. my pc does not recognize it 5 usb cords in different ports. my other switches do get recognized by my switch
