Hacking my switch won't boot into RCM mode.

heres what i've tried:

1. Checked serial number
2. Put my RCM jig all the way in
3. Held down both VOL+ and power
4. Tried it while plugged in and while not plugged in
5. Tried it with and without the left Joycon.

the RCM jig im using is off AliExpress (xkit.xyz, their website is now defunct tho)

The RCM Jig also needs to be loaded. Otherwise nothing happens.

yes, i do that, when i meant plugged in i meant a USB C cable.
