hi all,
um i was wondering since my wii u has only 32gb memory on it, and if i want to have more games like wii u/wii/gc i need to use an external hdd.
i was thinking of getting a usb stick 128gb, but since that will die out pretty quick,
so i thought of using a SSD 256gb (250gb) that i have along with a Y cable to run addtional games via hdd.

my question(s) is,

1) the ssd will work fine on wii u?
2) if i use a y cable, that'll get power from both usb ports instead of one,
which one should i use? the front or back ports?

3) i can have wii u/wii/gc games all on one hdd? if the wii/gc games are in wup format (Injects)?

thanx

1) It will work, and there's a boost in speed compared to a regular HDD, but not by much, see this video for a comparison:

2) Either one works. I recommend the back ports, that way the front ones are free and easily accesible to plug other stuff like a Gamecube controller adapter.
3) Yes, you can install Gamecube, Wii, Wii U and even DS games to the same HDD and have them appear on your system menu.

Hello everyone

I've dumped a bunch of games to USB using Disc2app. They seem to be working fine. My Question is this: My saves from the disc version of the games aren't showing up. Are saves associated with the discs? Is this what savemii is for? Thanks
