OP
I have several games that have a nvidia folder and something like 8769 folder inside, there's a file called just "bin" with no extension and I figured out it's a symlink. But it seems they can't be copied at all to another drive normally if I try to just copy it over it always gets stuck and causes the whole folder to stop being copied. Is it even a necessary file that I need?

Windows handles symlinks in incredibly weird ways. You'll have to manually recreate it in the destination directory, and it's probably safe to assume it is an important file. It's most likely a directory itself, and because Windows is Windows, it's not working as it should. You'll have to find the destination of the link itself and then recreate it from the location you're trying to move the rest of the files to. You may be better just reinstalling the games to the new destination as Windows isn't all that intuitive when copying and pasting installed software to a new drive. Or, as a third option, you could boot into a Linux Live instance and copy the files that way.
