If you get a unpatched unit you get an unpatched unit I don't get why you care so much about when it is manufactured, the XAJ40 and XAJ70 is just different production line, the cutoff was July 2018, that was when the patched unit started showing up in the market.

You don't need to know something specific about the manufacturing date between these two serials. As stated above, XAJ40 and XAJ70 are different production lines. Not more or less. Either you have an unpatched unit, or a patched one. Send a payload and wait what happens.

im still learning but my switch starts with xaw7000. I purchased it at Target in the US in late 2017 if i remember correctly.

And if you read the first post correctly, you would know that units with xaw7000 are in the green region. Means, they are unpatched.
