Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game finally returns to sale later this year

After years of waiting, the Scott Pilgrim game is finally coming back to consoles. After working with the creator of the series, Bryan Lee O'Malley, Ubisoft has decided to bring the game to current platforms, following its delisting back in 2014. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game - Complete Edition is coming to Nintendo Switch, Uplay, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia later this holiday season, and will include the Knives Chau and Wallace Wells DLC.

again, how? hell, 3 contains an entire remake of the first game, what even is the issue you have?
It's quite simple; the "3d grid" gimmick destroyed the purity of the gameplay of the originals making it far less fun and nowhere near as addictive. I return to the first two regularly... 'Dimensions' isn't terrible, but I feel no draw to ever play it again over either of it's predecessors.

There is also this indie game that is great!!

It's a shame no one knows this game..

There's always been a lot of scrolling brawlers... at least there were up until 20 years ago, then the genre kind of died until Scott Pilgrim appeared - now it's become one of the most prolific genres for indie games. Most I've experienced are ok, some are rather good, but none are even close to the genre in it's heyday, let alone SPvsTW.
It's a shame the genre's so oversaturated - I've probably missed out on some good ones.

...No it fuckin isn't - 3 is a train wreck compared to 2 (and 1), go stand in a corner for an hour and think about what you've just said...

Anyway, Scott Pilgrim coming back!! :D Switch version too! Kinda disappointed we're probably not getting the 360 version (BC), but that's Ubisoft for you, roll on release!

Oh Gawd another one! GW1 & 2 had the suffix 'Retro Evolved' and Bizarre Creations nailed it: both were proper, old skool, arcade score attack/leaderboard greatness ...especially 2! Those 6 leaderboards would come up at the end of every game, just to tease you (especially when you've got a good 20 or so mates on Xbox Live that also hammered the game) and tell you "think that score was good? Shite lad, you're still 10th on this leaderboard mwahaha!" GW3 had none of this, and was more like that shite spinoff we got on Wii etc - an above average twin stick progression based shooter. It isn't BAD per se, it's just if I wanted to play that kind of game, I'll fire up the PS3 or 4 and play Super Stardust. Or Resogun. Both of which did a better job too! So aye, off you go and join that other lad in the corner and think about what you've just said for a while. Kids these days, no fukkin idea etc etc, moan moan *cough* *wheeze* *fart*
