Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game finally returns to sale later this year

After years of waiting, the Scott Pilgrim game is finally coming back to consoles. After working with the creator of the series, Bryan Lee O'Malley, Ubisoft has decided to bring the game to current platforms, following its delisting back in 2014. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game - Complete Edition is coming to Nintendo Switch, Uplay, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia later this holiday season, and will include the Knives Chau and Wallace Wells DLC.

Yo, Capcom! If you can suck Marvel and Disney's dick enough, can we get a re-release of the MVC Origins pack and MVC2 HD on modern platforms? How about both of the Capcom vs. SNK's in HD and on modern platforms while we're at it!?

Also, give these games physical copies on consoles.

It's cool to see this game come back, but most of the love the internet has for this game is just based off of how it's not obtainable legally anymore. I bought this game on the xbox arcade back in the day and I still have it downloaded on my 360, but it's just a completely average beat 'em up.

UPlay? I guess that's to be expected. Could be a long time before we see it in a ridiculous sale, though.

Fortunately it's not that expensive. It's supposed to only be $14.99 at launch. I distinctly remember paying less than that for mine on PS3, but I must have gotten it close to when it was going to be de-listed.

I've actually had this on PS3 for a long time. It was okay, but not great, in my opinion, but I heard the Xbox 360 version was better. I'll probably pick it up on Switch just to vote with my money and prove that DOING THINGS LIKE THIS IS GOOD.

WHY DON'T MORE GAME COMPANIES LISTEN TO CONSUMER DEMANDS

Because unfortunately, this is the mindset of all business ventures:

But don't they want our money? And.. like.. doing things we want them to do would get them our money.

Unfortunately, licensed shit isn't exactly easy to make money when the company making the game isn't the owner of the license.

All of this would be easily avoided if they went through the trouble of making at least even a LRG run, which they confirmed that they don't have anything to do with, unfortunately.

Like, if Street Fighter can get the Anniversary Collection treatment, why not the entirety of everything Marvel that Capcom's done outside of that Arcade1Up thing that, if one wanted, they could put inside of an X-Arcade cabinet and have access to more than just the good, but admittedly limited selection of games that package offered? (Doesn't help that it's all games that any PC from 2004 could emulate).
