i see corrosion and a connector missing 2 pins i tink should be there, but nothing major.corrosion is something that happens to every electronic device.
whenever there's a connector, there will be corrosion eventually.
but i don't like the missing pins, they look to be wired... (larger connector right under)

Is there anything i can do about the missing pins. Foil?

i suppose you could carefully make a replacement pin by using a thin solid core wire, but foil doesn't seem a good idea, and i'm not certain it's a flaw... better leave it for now, only repair what's failing in the first place and remove corrosion.
the corroded connector (the small one), i would recomend replacing it. looks like standard usb or something, at least it's 4 pins... should be able to find a reseller of such ports.
