Homebrew Question Is it possible to be "online" during local play

Basically i want to play local play on my hacked switch to my unhacked switch, but i want to be "online" to use sys-botbase
Is this possible using a certain homebrew app? I looked around but couldnt find any

Assuming you want to use sys-botbase with animal crossing to spawn all the items on your 2nd switch, the answer is no. The internet access is disabled so local play isnt interrupted

When you use local wifi, it creates an adhoc connection between the two Switches, that can't coexist with the regular wifi connection as there is only one wifi adapter (on a PC it is possible to "split" your wifi adapter using a program like Connectify to run a hotspot while still connected to the wifi network, or connect to multiple networks, on the Switch this would likely not be possible without heavy modification of the kernel/drivers)
The way I could see it working with only minor modifications to the kernel/drivers is if you use a wired LAN adapter. Now you have two adapters that should be able to coexist, but the firmware and games are probably not designed to deal with having two adapters active, and will probably just result in the wifi being disabled automatically or ignored. At least it should be easier to patch the system/games to work with it, than allow multiple wifi networks to be active.
