So after updating my softmods and whatnot following the modmii guide, usb loader will recognize my HDD (showing correctly the amount of space used) but not showing games (yes, i ticked the boxes that say wii games and that but it only shows the default channels like weather and photos) even tho before it worked flawlessly and nintendont wont even recognize it.
The HDD was fully formatted as FAT32 and the games added with wii backup manager with the format wbfs/title [id]/id.wbfs and GC games as games/id/game.iso using DMtoolbox.
I'm using usbloader rev1271.7 on an SD card and the games running on an HDD (on the outside usb port)
I know that this has been asked many times but i've read dozens of threads and stil havent find a solution.

Here's my system check sorry about it being in spanish but ask me if there's anything you don't understand.

Thank you for your sysCheck,it looks good.

Your HDD is in "one Piece" or maybe partitioned please ?

Please look in the USBLoader GX Settings/Global Settings - Hard Drive Settings
Game/Install Partition - if your HDD/Game Partition is there please.:)

For the GameCube Games please look under USBLoader GX Settings/Global Settings - Custom Paths - Main GameCube Path is set to usb1 (or usb2 if you have more Partitions on your HDD and the GameCube Games are located on another Partition).

Thank you.:)

My HDD is not partitioned (never really learned how to do that) and game/install shows as WBFS(2048.00GB)
GC games custom path shows as usb1:/games/

There is something "not ok" I think:
and game/install shows as WBFS(2048.00GB

You said your formatted it with FAT32.:(
And that is then clear why no GameCube Games shown too - they need FAT32.
Wii games works on NTFS/FAT32 and WBFS (but not really recommended today).

Can you access you HDD on your PC please ? Will Windows try to format it when you plug it into your PC ?:(

Thank you.:)

No, nothing happened. I will try to format the HDD back to ntsc and then again to FAT32 and only upload 1 or 2 wii games

Can you maybe choose then above the 150 GB FAT32 Partition ?
These two option are unrelated !

the "multi partition" option is not used to choose if he wants to switch partitions or not.
it's used to display games from ALL existing partitions, and "STOP USING" the first option as "partition to display games from".

Not enabling multi partition only let the user pick "one single" partition to display games from, and it's the partition chosen in the first option.

when using multipartition, the first option is still used as "partition where disc dump will be copied to".
but not as "partition to display games from", as games will be displayed from all (8 max) partitions.

Alexander, Did you notice his HDD partition manager displays "basic" instead of "removable/external hdd" ?
not sure if it could be a problem too.
or maybe he didn't check the right hdd?

When i connect it to my pc windows does NOT try to format it and when i check the HDD's properties, it shows up as FAT32
Are you sure the drive is F ?
if windows doesn't try to mount it, it's usually because it doesn't have a letter assigned.
if it's not assigned, maybe it's really WBFS, not FAT32.

do you have file access on F in your explorer?
If it displays "F" it means it's mountable.

I suspect this :
Your drive is WBFS formatted, without a partition letter.
windows can't mount it, because no letter.
if you assign a letter, it will ask you to format the partition (because he doesn't understand wbfs format)

Use wii Backup Manager, and try to mount "F" (just in case F is really the partition where you have your games, and it's falsely reported as fat32 while it's not?)

DO never format the drive !
first, we will have to understand what's wrong and how to make it recognized, recover files etc.

Hello.:)

Welcome to GBAtmep and the Wii Section.

Might seem stupid but did occur to me that only three games appeared after installing and playing many wo issue. Turned out that in display options in USB loader GX I checked the favorite (star) in the bar, which was the reason. hope this helps.

Of course, this "Thing" is also overseen many Times.
Thank you for Reminding.:)
