So, lemme be as clear as possible. I have little to no idea about this hacking stuff, I just tried my best to follow guides and now I've no idea what to do.
Essentially, I wanted to get the update that allows me to use a larger capacity SD card, because 32GBs Exfat wouldn't let me put games on it due to them being too large. I used Choi Dujour to update to 6.2 (yes, I selected the exfat option).
Upon updating, it asked me to reboot. So I did. Blank screen. I had a panic, but then realized it activates auto-rcm. After booting into Hekate and loading atmosphere, however, it sticks at the Switch Screen. And that's where I'm at now.
I have no earthly idea how to proceed. I've tried using other SD cards, same issue. I've tried using none at all, but I can't even get to the switch logo even with auto-rcm turned off. How do I continue? I have nothing on the switch that I'm bothered even slightly about losing, so the quickest path to a factory reset so I can try again will be appreciated.
On top of that, I don't actually care about being banned either. I'm using the switch for singleplayer exclusives anyway, so if I factory reset, could I just update to the latest version then airplane mode and play games?
