Is it necessary or is there a way to do it via NHSE?
If I cannot receive the recipe through NHSE, is there a way to update the recipe list to include what I need + update the flag to up the counter as if I had received and learned it?

You can give yourself the DIY recipe using NHSE. Just use Item Editor and choose DIY Recipe, then choose from the dropdown list what recipe you want it to be. Or you could just give yourself 'All Recipe' by using 'Edit Player' and 'Edit Recipes'.
Thanks! I'm familiar with this part, my biggest concern is in regards to the Nook Mile Achievement counter. I don't want to have (for example) 70 recipes in my 'phone inventory' but the game has only counted 69. How do I ensure that?
Another issue is that adding these DIY recipes yourself is that they appear as one of your first DIY recipes by order of 'obtained' which is not accurate

Give yourself the item called DIY recipe. You can then select the recipe you want to read. It is an item you can put in your inventory, then you can read it like normal.

If you want to plant non native fruit then fly to an island using Nook Tickets (Legit) it's random and may take a few visits
or if you want to cheat then read the previous posts

Failing that use ANCH Poker to poke trees or fruit into your slots
or use Atmosphere/Edizon cheats or SXOS cheats dependant on which custom Firmware you are using
or get someone on local play visit you with fruits they have that you don't
Have a little patience, people that may know may be offline or asleep, depending on where they live in the world

ACNH Poker recipes act the same way as if you had received the recipes legit. Once you read the recipe it adds them to your mobile app for future use
You can also pass them on if you poke them and drop for a visitor to pick up on Lan play or Local Play, assuming you don't want to go online legit?
There are or were 595 recipes to go at
the reason why no one answered you is bc you asked about banning, assume any cheating of any kind will get you banned this is why we stress use at your own risk. def do not go online with your CFW switch.
Great, thanks for the heads-up. I was asking if it was 100% ban, not if it's risky to make the modification. The risk exists, I know that, but I also know that there are some modifications where the ban is 100% insured.
That was my doubt, if switching the native fruit with the program meant one of these bans. I thought I didn't have to qualify.
But again, thank you. I ask a simple question and receive this kind of answer, having to make clear the exact doubt, as if I didn't know that there is some risk in the scene when it is not the first video game console I modify nor will it be the last one.
@Kru5h Thanks for the links, I'll read them. As for putting fruit in my slots... what I wanted was to change the native fruit of my island so that my passport would show that I have other fruit than the current one

changing your fruit also seems to be a new update in acnhse and most people here do item cheating/diy/town layout, so possibly no one pays that much attention to native fruit yet because again, the update is fairly recent.
Nintendo doesn't want players transferring ACNH saves in order to prevent exploits such as item dupping, so they locked the save to the console as much as they could, even preventing the use of cloud saves with the game.
Ironically, an easy way to dupe anything that can be mailed has just been found, so nearly everything of any value can now be dupped on an unhacked console.
In a limited way where it only sends the save to the cloud; the idea is that if you somehow lose your device then Nintendo's customer support can get your save on a new console.
In other words, it's a safeguard against losing the save, but you will need Nintendo's help in order to make use of it, preventing players from using the feature to dupe things.

If you create an item/recipe that has no description on your switch, please do not drop it on the ground.
Chances are you won't be able to pick it up. You can push it to an area out of the way or to somewhere
you can build over with i.e. tent, house, bridge, incline or if you have the island editor (terraforming)

If you are starting out then this is for you, nice simple interface, can't do too many things wrong with this.

Eat 10 items (full belly), spawn variations in slots 21-30 by using quants 0-9 (experimental), Hex/Decimal mode for manual item override / input
[F1] Delete [F2] or [INS] Insert [F3] Copy, Auto/Manual refresh slots 1-40, Right click on item to Delete or Copy, Auto saves IP address, Island name displayed

You have a lot of access to play around in the memory with this version, so a little more risky spawning items that shouldn't really exist

Doesn't work with SXOS, or basically any other prog that will access the same memory, Doesn't like FTP.
Some items in the full list are linked to events or aren't in game items so you may get a message 'cant use that here' or can't pick them back up
if you drop them on the ground. These items are few and far between but I can edit the name in the list at some point with 'Do not use' or remove them
from the master list. It's not the end of the world
Spawning Fish and Bugs you can sell them, give to Blathers to appear in his museum collection. They do not appear in your Critterpedia.
You still need to catch these for them to be part of your collection.
