Hi guys,

a little new to all this, I have 2 quick questions

1. i installed custom firmware without backing up the NAND, is it too late to do it? can i switch the console off and then wipe the sd card and backup NAND?

2. if i switch the console off and wipe the sd card, does the remove all traces of custom firmware? if so can i update the console officially?

thank you

You can backup now without formating your sdcard.

Log are stored in your NAND, formating your SDCARD is useless. You can clean your NAND log, but even with that you can be banned

There are types of bricks that cannot be fixed without a NAND backup, so yes, you should make a NAND backup ASAP.

It's never too late to make a backup. But if you're aiming for a clean backup, it's still not too late if the cfw you used is atmosphere and you didn't do any sketchy stuff..ehm..piracy..ehm.
