ROM Hack [RELEASE] 3DS TO CIA by Katsu

This failed to work for my rxTools decrypted Cubic Ninja 3DS file. (it just says it's missing xorpads and won't continue). It's decrypted, yet it still wants xorpads. Anyway around this?

EDIT: Forgot I had to rename the 3ds file to have "_modified" in the file name. This created a folder with some files and such. Dragging that folder to the batch file would then start the process for building the CIA.

However this time it just resulted in a CIA that doesn't boot. I get the "SD Card was removed" message when I attempt to start it.

OK, how would I go about making a XORPAD? Noob at this, but I dont think I would be able to since I have a O3DS at 9.2 and N3DS at the same FW. Both use GW.

This depends on the game you are using, maybe it's necessary to inject the original exheader.bin.

Maybe today or weekend, i'll update the process.

I have everything in the correct folder. I had the xorpads in the root of the folder and the rom. I dragged the rom on top of the .bat file and chose 7, 8, and 9 (So i could use a omega ruby rom hack) and i get this.

what i notice in the picture is that it doesn't move the update data xorpad, even though i've pasted it there multiple times, when i check the xorpads folder for the rom, (ECRA), the updatedata xorpad is completely gone.

EDIT: nevermind, nintendo decided to be dumb and have omega ruby and alpha sapphire have same title ids, so i copied the wrong xorpads.

ECRA = Pokemon Omega Ruby

updatedata is not needed because cia doesn't contain them > deleted.

if exist *UpdateData.romfs.xorpad echo Removing Update Data

Xorpads failed, something is wrong with your file.

Dude, I have been struggling with other toolkits for the last week. You are my savior! This is the only one that works with Citra. 3DS Builder always messes up the exheader and 3DS to CIA Converter uses ctrtool which can't read unicode, breaking any games with Japanese filenames

I tried to apply a mod for SMT Strange Journey Redux. But I'm getting error processing RSF trying to use this.

The repacking after extracting a decrypted 3DS rom doesn't work at all.
