Hey, I’ve been using the WiiVC injector for a while(great app btw) but I’ve recently ran into a small problem when trying to build Wii sports resort. the internal game name displays as “WDP2 US(P)” and I’m wondering if there is a way to change the internal game name from the build screen. I would appreciate a response when you have the time. Thank you.

Currently playing Path of Radiance through Nintendont, and injected Radiant Dawn with this tool. Is it possible for the inject to read my PoR save file? Will i need to move the save elsewhere on my SD card so Radiant Dawn recognizes it?

I am using "TeconMoon's WiiVC Injector" for injecting some Wii games with own found banners, but there is an issue happening which is not understandable for me. It's cutting the actual banner in a smaller size then i made.

The Image Resolution is correct with 1280x720.
Notable: In the preview as example before building it has shown the full picture.

Awaiting for the right answer.

I encountered another issue that I can't quite figure out. On the wiki compatibility list, Pokémon Battle Revolution is listed as working, but the added notes are unclear. I'll just copy-paste them here:
"Inject using FULL ISO, DON'T TRIM or use WBFS file, if using TeconMoon's WiiVC Injector v3.0.1, tick the "Don't trim game output (Wii Retail only)" option in the Advanced options."
Does this mean that:
- the game will only work properly if you use the untouched ISO and tick "Don't trim game output"; or
- it should work either by using the untouched ISO and not ticking any extra options, or by using the WBFS and ticking "Don't trim game output"
?

I guess it's the first option because I can't get it to work with an untouched ISO without ticking "Don't trim game output", but I'd like to know for sure that I'm not doing anything wrong.

I also couldn't get Animal Crossing (PAL) for the GameCube working using a trimmed ISO (untrimmed it works fine but wastes so much space considering how tiny the game actually is), but I just found out over here that the tool I used (Gamecube ISO Tool) doesn't work well with a bunch of games, so I'll first give that GCMUtility tool a try and hopefully get it to work that way.

Sounds clear enough to me. You must use the full ISO, AND select the don't trim option. I am pretty certain that in this case, a WBFS file won't work at all (I believe this is already trimmed somehow). Also, if you use a full ISO, but don't select the "don't trim" option, the file will still be trimmed so it won't work.

Sorry but I can't really help you with the other issue.

Yes, but you can also interpret it as saying the script does an additional (or simply a different) trimming operation regardless of whether you use an ISO or a WBFS file, and this additional (or different) trimming operation is what causes the problem. Sucks that the game now has to take up about 5GB instead of only 1.

As for Animal Crossing, I tried the GCM produced by GCMUtility, and it still doesn't work. I'll make a post about it in the Nintendont thread as well, because I don't know if the issue is caused by the script, by the trimming or by Nintendont.

It's on the Gamepad/Meta options tab. If you set a 2nd line and do another inject afterwards, make sure you go back to that tab because the tool doesn't automatically wipe it when starting a new inject.

Built a custom WiiU channel forwarder for FCEUltra RX. The channel forwarder works great, but when it asks if you want to use the gamepad and select yes, once in the actual emulator nothing on the gamepad functions other than viewing on the screen. I did build another channel also for the Snes9xRX and it did not have this issue. Trying to figure out a workaround to the issue. Any ideas?

Easy, FCEUltra RX doesnt support WiiU GamePad, if you check the change log for this fork on the GitHub page, there is no mention of WiiU GamePad support.
Then look at the change log for Snes9x RX, it states WiiU GamePad support, take it up with the dev for FCEUltra RX to add WiiU GamePad support.

Since I can't provide the main.dol because it's copyright material I prepared a folder to simple patch.

Note it only applies to the USA version of the game (I tried DCKR v1.01)
What it patch: Y=run, B=jump, ZR=blow/stomp
  1. Open your ISO with WiiScrubber
  2. In DATA partition look for main.dol file, right click extract and save it on DKRC CC patch folder
  3. In the DKRC CC patch folder open apply_patch.bat
  4. With the main.dol patched go to WiiScrubber again, select main.dol right click replace and select the patched main.dol
  5. ???
  6. Profit
Now you can inject your shiny new DKRC with gamepad support :P

The patcher .exe is part of @Wiimm tools, and the .gct code is from @crediar so I don't take credit on that.
That's wonderful but I can't get my wstrt.exe to work !
I first got an error saying I needed cygwin1.dll, wich I found, and now it still won't work (0xc000007b).
I'm trying to run it on windows 10 x64.
Please help I'm really stuck.

EDIT : I installed Wimms and put all the files that were in the DKRC CC folder inside the directory of Wimms where there was cygwin1.dll, and the batch file ran without problem. Can't tell if it worked yet !
