Can anyone help me with USB install using Tinfoil 8.1 and NUT 2.6?
I have been using Tinfoil with NUT for USB installs on my Switch but in the latest version of both Tinfoil and NUT going into Tinfoil's File Browser/usbfs:/ shows no files to install even though NUT says it's connected and files are showing in its Window. I have already installed the libUSBk drivers again as per NUT instructions.

Make sure you are on the latest Tinfoil 8.10 R10 (will show R10 in bottom right during boot), this issue should have been resolved a few days ago.

reinstall libusbK with zigzag while tinfoil launched and usb connected to pc.

for me, 8.1 works well. all revisions of it stop usb install at the beggining with some int 0 error.

Yes. I reinstalled the drivers for tinfoil interface 0.

Must warn about new tinfoil and usbfs here: if there's any spaces in folder names where your nsp files are stored, tinfoil will hang and NUT console window will throw you an error like "path doesn't exist". I have renamed folders, changing spaces to _ and there we go, our usbfs installs just fine.
Another sidenote that NUT's speedbar decimal point is wrong, it cannot install with 397.1 MBps, more like 39.71 MBps.

I never considered that possibility and it fixed my problem! thanks!

invalid magic ! you could try to create a new folder ,and just put one nsp/xci/nsz file in it ,and try again.

Are you sure it's MBps and not mbps? It sounds like it might be correct if it's mbps.

newer versions of nut introduced a large transfer buffer, the initial speed is showing how fast the transfer buffer can be filled up (your hard drives speed). After it fills up it drops down to more or less your age transfer speed to your switch.
