Can this launch cartridges, I put in a AK2i but don't see it in the Twilight menu, my DSi firmware is 1.4.5.Only to see if that Boots.If not we have to search on an other End.

You can launch Game Cartriges from UNLAUNCH or from within TWiLight Menu (by pressing SELECT it comes up).
For your Flashcard:
Booting from UNLAUNCH is maybe not working.You have to boot it from within TWiLight Menu.
If is not showing/booting,you can go into TWiLight Settings (it is also there in this Menu by pressing SELECT).
You can change the Settings for:
- Slot-1 launch method Direct or Reboot
- SCFG Access in Slot-1 ON/OFF

Thanks for helping me. I couldn't get the AK2i working, I have another DSi with 1.4.3 firmware that can handle that and a few DS lites. Slot 1 carts now appear in the initial Twilight screen and official game cart launch, maybe there is something else I need to do to get the AK2i working. I'll be back if I run into more problems. Will this install to a non hacked 3DS? I have a launch day 3DS and two 3DS XL's. I kind of dropped from the scene when Gateway was the thing, two of my 3DS's can run a Gateway cart and the other one is updated past that firmware.Congratulations.

You need Custom Firmware/Homebrew Access on your 3DS´s and then you can install TWiLight and the Updater.
You need to launch it with TWiLight Menu++, which will have nds-bootstrap boot the homebrew, and will automatically DLDI-patch it.
Hey, I recently learned about the Twilight Menu Updater, and was wondering if it's available for DSi users, and if so, how to install it?

Please download the latest Release of TWiLight:

- In the 7z file, extract the "_nds" folder from both the 7z root and the "DSi&3DS - SD card users" folder, to the SD Card root. Merge folders, when asked to.
- Extract the "boot.nds" file from the "DSi&3DS - SD card users" folder, to the SD Card root.
- Extract what's in "DSi - CFW users/SDNAND root" to the root of your SD card.
- Put .gb/.gba/.gbc/.gen/.gg/.nes/.nds/.sms/.smc/.sfc ROMs anywhere on your SD card.
- (Unlaunch users) In Unlaunch menu, go to options, and set the "No button" option to "TWLMENUPP".
- Launch TWiLight Menu++!

hey rob is there any complete guide to properly install or make gba runner 2 work? it never worked for me ever since i had twilight menu. back then the games would just crash or glitch but now it says SCFG Locked and already switch dldi to arm7 and bootstrap to nightly....still nothing...please help
Thanks so much for all the fantastic work. I installed Twilight Menu (and all the other various components) on my DSi and and it's running nicely. I'm wondering if it's possible to add MAME and Atari 2600 emulators as well. Is this something I'd be able to do on my own, or does that have to be added into a future update of the software? I'm a complete noob with DSi homebrew, but since this installation and customization went flawlessly for me I'm hoping that would be something I can pull off on my own with a little guidance. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
i am having troubles with ds games some roms wont work(Ace Attorney Investigations - Miles Edgeworth,Wario: Master of Disguise) all other roms are working but not these,I reinstalled them through different sources (regions, sites) but no, they still do not work help

@Robz8 most likely knows better but not every game works yet. most do. so just wait, in due time.
From the nds-bootstrap compatibility list:
Wario: Master of Disguise only works on version 0.10.1.
Ace Attorney: Miles Edgeworth has a white screen for 30 seconds, then plays normally for the most part.
I'd recommend completely deleting your TWiLight Menu++ setup then redoing everything.
I'd also recommend having bios.bin in the root
This is the DS(i) section, not the n/o2/3DS section. Anyways, I think this tool is what you're looking for, I'd you're looking to edit a gen 4 or 5 game save.
