Ok - few questions i can't find the answers too

a) is there any way of hiding folders from view in the file viewer? the m3 simply allowed you to set the attributes to hidden to not display them but this doesn't work (if it's impossible then it sucks)

b) in media extend when you go to select a video or picture etc - is there any setting to make it jump stright to the "correct" folder? ie have a folder called "My Pictures" so when you select my pictures from the media extend menu it displays this folder? (and if not why not!)

c) is there any way to re-order the list of folders? at the moment it's done by date last modified, not even aphpabetically, so to get my useful folders at the top (as i can't hide the useless ones!) i have to carfeully modify the folders so they're dated in the right order.

d) any way to turn of all this cheat malarky? i don't want cheats ever. i don't want to see the tab, and i don't want to see the slow mo or other options on the screen. any way to bypass this screen and just lauch the game when i select it?!

e) any way to change what program runs from the main menu icons? instead of the m3 pda can i get it to run dsorganize instead by default? instead of media extend can i get it to run moonshell by default?

so far waaaay too many annoyances with the os. quite like the way the cart fits in and the sd slot though!

1. You should be able to give them the hide attribute in Windows. If that doesn't work, it is likely you cannot hide files (never tried it myself)
2. You might be able to mess around with one of the moonshell boot files to get this. Once again, I'm not expert on moonshell. Shouldn't be too hard moving to that directory though right?
3. You will need to sort using a program on Windows since the G6/M3 Team just refuse to do anything about it. Try using FATsort to sort files.
4. You could always make the tab invisible in the skin as a workaround. You can also delete the cheat database file.
5. Not at the moment.
6. Boot.ini is for boot settings. I don't think any of these are enabled on the M3 though (eg. autoboot or non-auto, etc). Not sure - don't mess around with the files unless you know what you are doing

I also posted them in another topic but still no answers yet.

OK let's talk about "real" autobooting:
There is a boot.ini in the systems folder which has a line for autoboot.
When I add the path to a file there (e.g. "/NDS/xxxx - Mario.nds") it works and does automatically load the game on startup itself.

But the next questions are:
1. If you want to not load the file sometimes and want in the game menu, how do you do that? - Maybe hold down some buttons?
2. What parameters does the boot.ini unterstand resp. what else can you use in the boot.ini??
3. I read somewhere when you hold down a specific button (e.g. or [Select]) the card dows something. Can I find a chart where are all the boot possibilities are listed??
4. Is it possible to store the save files in a different folder that in the NDS folder??
5. Can you use subfolders in the NDS folder to divide a larger amount of files??
I tried to make subfolders within the NDS folder BUT when you switch to one of these you can not switch back to the NDS folder.
Click in the down left corner and select a subfolder within the NDS folder it will work BUT then try to select the NDS folder itself again... it won't work!!
