Homebrew 3DS Cheats not working (Luma3DS + Rosalina Menu)

Hello,
first I hope this is the right place to post, im new here. So please be understanding.
Today I tried to cheat in 3DS games using Checkpoint, but non of them cheats works for me.
Mario 3D Land just crashes most of the times [see picture!]
I have Luma CFW for two days now, so everything should be on latest version.

Maybe someone here can help me

Personally,I know the Issue.And I know how you feeling.

This comes in unexpected and irregular Intervals.You can never tell when it will happen.
Current Case for me: Fire Emblem - Shadows of Valentina.

But as our fellow GBAtemp Community always says:

Do not use Cheats. :rofl2:

I just tried some more cheats and found out that some cheats are working but some not.
Im very glad that theres nothing wrong in general with my 3ds or my cfw.

I´m always using europe games, can that be the reason for many cheats not to work?

I do not think so.I only use US Games and also have this Phenomenon.
Maybe it has to do when the Game(s) is "Saving".Maybe an SD Brand issue......

It's usually because the cheats aren't for your game version. You cant really do anything to fix that :/

Hello.

In CHECKPOINT in the upper Right Corner (v.3.7.3 or 3.7.4,with Checkpoint comes the Cheats.)
In Rosalina - depends on your Luma3Ds Version you have.

I have a similar problem, except the game runs fine, but the cheats aren't applied.

Try enabling "plugin Loader" on the rosalina menu, I tried it out of desperation, and almost all of my cheats work now. I think the game considers the cheat a "Plugin" because the data (or at least the edited code) is not part of the game, and that the cheat might be in checkpoint and not digitally put into the game. I turned "Plugin Loader" off, and the cheat crashed my game (So make sure to back up your data before cheating in case something bad happens to the code).

This might be because the cheat aren't made for the version of your game.

What I wasn't aware of was that it's not enough to enable cheats in Checkpoint. While the game runs you have to enter Rosalina menu (L + D-down + Select) and go inside "Cheats..." and enable each one from there. Maybe it will help someone.

Thank you for this. I thought I had to go through a more difficult route but doing this worked flawlessly.

I’ve scanned through the entire menu and I don’t see any option for a “plugin loader”
