Hi everyone, I've followed a tutorial to get my switch with custom fw.
I followed the one in switch homebrew guide, and downloaded the default kosmos package from sdsetup

I have a 128GB microSD card, and partitioned it into 2 partitions, 1 with 32GB and the other with 96GB.
I copied the content of "sd" into the 32GB partition.

I enter rcm mode, and sent payload, then into backup everything, etc.

Them, I selected EmuMMC and created it, with partition SD. ( I was thinking it would use the 96GB partition) no?
Well, it appears no, because when i put my card again in notebook, the 96gb partition is empy.

I also noticed when i launch CFW (emummc) I already have my profile account, and things there. Shouldn't I be in a "new environment?"
It seems that for some strange reason, this emummc is pointing to sysnand? Although when i click R+A on album, i see the menu of goldleaf.

But this is strange, because the users that show on the top left, are the ones i always used on my nintendo switch. (this was the 1st time i'm trying to do this on switch).

I just want to make sure i did everything ok, so that i dont get banned when i go online.
1 - And I want to try understand, why when i created my EmuMMC SD Partition the 96GB is showing nothing :\ (looks like i did something bad)
2 - Why when i enter CFW (emummc) for the 1st time, i didn't had to configure the switch. and it showed everything as if i was in my "normal" siwtch.

Sorry for the long post. Hope someone can help me clear this

(take my advice with more-than-a grain of salt)

1. I think that the emuMMC is created on the second partition, so it makes sense that the bigger partition is empty (except the atmosphere etc.).
2. I didn't need to configure my CFW as well. You can verify if you're on CFW though - Atmosphere will have an E or an S in the system version string to indicate whether or not you are in emuMMC or sysMMC:

**about the online - I'm not so sure about that, but I think that as long as you're not doing anything bannable on the sysnand you're good to go, but please consult another member**

thanks @Elirayo but not setting it up on first time is strange. On one tutorial they say the following:
"The first time you boot into emuMMC you're going to be asked to configure your console. You should, under no circumstances, link your Nintendo account to your emuMMC CFW NAND nor should you setup your Internet connection without using a service like PegaScape to block communication with Nintendo's servers."

@Bruj4h yes I saw that one too. In my case, I have an iPatched unit which I never ever connected to the internet (before changing to DNS90 in order to run pegascape) so I didn't thought it'll make much difference.
I think that you can factory reset the sysNand maybe?

no ideia. I wount access internet anyway. But i just have one switch, so don't want to risk it. Anyway, will leave it offline for now, when i want go online with it, then I will restore the sysnand, from the backup i did.
