Hello, I'm just wondering why my cfw 3ds isn't installing the files I have in correct format. Here is the error information:

Failed to install CIA file.
Result code: 0xC86044D2
Level: Status (25)
Summary: Out of resource (3)
Module: FS (17)
Desc: Partition full (210)

(I was attempting to install Farming Simulator 18)
Any information on this would be very helpful.

You pretty much need double the space of the cia size. So if the cia is 1gb you need 2gb on the sd card. 1gb is for the cia and 1gb is for the game to install.

Also FBI will tell you if you have enough space.select the cia and near the bottom of the screen it will say install size make a note of it then check the bottom left of the top screen it tells you what size is left on the sd card

Also if I had to delete things I have no clue what is actually safe to delete, and part of it all is homebrew and such.
You are out of space you need space bigger than the cia size. As I explained above also check what I edited in to my previous post.

Alright, well I got rid of a game I really don't need along with most of its saves (kept one to restore if for whatever reason I want it again.) Also, the space cleared is a lot more than just double the file size, so I'm going to retry now.
and a suggestion
get a bigger sd card :P

@SylverReZ, I dislike the kind of drm where you have to play single player games online all the time bc of some verification bs

@Xdqwerty, Don't use games that have Easy Anti-Cheat as its been exploited many times.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

@SylverReZ, i think they have been doing that since late 2000s

Either that or their old games were unfinished aswell but we can't notice it

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So that version is semi rare
