Homebrew What is your favorite NDS emulator?

I just recently got back into emulation and romhacking after not paying much attention to the communities for awhile, and remember DeSmuME being considered the best of the DS emulators. I've seen people say it's not considered all that great anymore, though. So what's your favorite NDS emulator?

There's still no true accurate DS emulator, but for common computer OSes Desmume is still one of the most appreciated (with the main competitors being the newcomer MelonDS with a focus on better accuracy and wifi emulation, and No$GBA as the only more-than-nominal attempt at DSi emulation)

I vastly prefer proper original hardware

maybe I am a bit biased, but I would say unless you really need the performance advantage(which is shrinking) melonDS is the better choice. For upscaled rendering melonDS outperforms desmume greatly in terms of performance (though the hw accelerated renderer which supports upscaling isn't as mature).
DSi support is being worked on, but it's far from being ready for end users.

I use DraStic for my android devices. It does cost a few bucks, but it works really well. Its especially nice running it on my Shield Portable with the touchscreen and physical contols.

i like original hardware. seems like i have like 50 ways of playing DS games

Desmume was the best is maybe is the best still. but the main Dev not supporting Pokemon Games made it lack some stuff.

No$GBA is always improving and helping the scene one way or another. and is great on low end PC's

melonDS is the one that is up and coming. always improving and open source.

BUT

but when it comes to emulation DraStic is the best imo. has bit of everything above
