Five new titles join the discounted PlayStation Hits line

yGEWcPw.png

As the PlayStation 4's lifespan continues into its twilight years, more games have continually been added to their "PlayStation Hits" line of software, which are physical re-releases of some of the console's most popular titles. These games are repackaged in a box with a red stripe, and retail for a much lower price, similar to the way PlayStation 3 games received a "Greatest Hits" version. Soon, five more games will be brought into the PlayStation Hits lineup, which includes Resident Evil VII, God of War III: Remastered, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Nioh, and Friday the 13th. In both North America and Europe, you'll be able to pick up any of the aforementioned titles for a new low price of $19.99. starting on June 28th.

I just recently redeemed 3000 points for $30 funds from Sony rewards. Maybe I could try Nioh as that's the only one I didnt try from the list above

So in a similar fashion, this is like the Nintendo Selects titles.
I'm not surprised that Horizon Zero Dawn made it to this list btw.
Cool game, the closests thing to a 3D Zelda on the PlayStation perhaps.

I don't know about the others, but Resident Evil 7 has been at that price for months, without the new red branding people always seem to hate for the "cheap rereleases" line.

Spider-man has been on sale for $20 at a few places recently. I believe Target or Walmart had it for $20 a couple of weeks ago. Keep an eye out for it on slickdeals.

Yup, saw it on Amazon the other day for $20. Also the last PSN sale had it for $20 and $30 for the game + all dlc.
Was thinking of buying, but decided that I probably won't have time for it.

I got Horizon Zero Dawn during the Days of Play sale for 9.99 and it's such a beautiful game. The game is definitely worth the $20 if people are interested in the game. Too bad nier automata wasn't discounted too or I would have gotten that too.

No way was Friday the 13th a best seller, the lobbies are dead most of the time
I was thinking the same thing, honestly. Most of these games were genuinely quite popular and very good purchases for 20$, but F13 seemed like it died out within a few weeks, when people realized it was pretty easy to troll all the other players if you weren't with a full pre-made group of friends.
