I didn't try every game but a booted up a couple and they worked fine.

Thank you.I asked because if more or all of your games have this issue and you changed nothing on your Softmod then maybe the USB device causes the troubles.

Then its possible that maybe only the In-Game settings for this game has changed in some way.

Please check it for some "unusual" entries/sets.

updating HBC is not required, but doesn't hurt.
the update is not even suggested by the automated update feature because it doesn't really add or fix anything important for the Wii, it's only vWii related fixes.

You currently have some custom IOS (cIOS are in slot 200+)
even though you used an outdated syscheck and the information is incomplete, we can see you have an outdated setup.

you currently have :
d2x cIOS v7, which is PERFECTLY FINE for zelda !
what you might want is : cIOS d2x v8, base57

you can follow modmii generated guide to update all your setup at once, or just install one single cIOS.
modmii sounds the better solution to just update everything.

I don't think SysCheck HDE v2.4.0 is that outdated, but the way the cios info is truncated is weird!
Maybe his SD card is having problems??
Or he used Excel to open the csv and didn't copy the full info?

Edit: yep, just tried Excel and that must be it.
@paradoxgrowth although the syscheck report is named .csv, you can just use any text viewer to open it and copy the full content

IOS62 (only needed if you use the Wii U Transfer option)
cIOS249(57)-d2x-v8-final (maybe keep your version as @Cyan suggested).
cIOS250(56)-d2x-v8-final

You can use ModMii Updater for that or download it manually and install it with MultiModManager if you like.

And of course you can wait on @Cyan´s expert opinion. :bow:

Before you update,a few questions please if you allow:

- Do you have BootMii (as IOS) and Priiloader installed ?
- Do you have an NAND Backup ?
- Do you have an WAD manager installed ?

If you can answer this with a simple YES,then maybe you can use

- the IOS58 Installer
- the d2x cIOS Installer for updating your Softmod

If your Answer is not a simple YES then to Continue:

The easiest way is to use @XFlak´s Tool ModMii.

You can use your sysCheck.csv File to Update your Softmod quick and easy.
ModMii organizes the needed Files and Tool including a Manual how to achieve this.

in that case, yes, it's symptom of missing cIOS, or just because of old cIOS not compatible with motion+ video reloading which would explain better why other games are working.

Why didn't you follow syscheck guide and post the result here?

To install cIOS you'll have to connect to wifi and have a working internet connection.
there are offline method, but it's harder to explain and need to get proper IOS files first.

If your other games are working, you can "bypass" the update of cIOS and use old cIOS with zelda.
Go to zelda's option > Alt dol : from disc !
then select "video.dol"
launch the game, it will not launch the game, but the wiimote+ video. You are forced to watch it to the end, and it will reboot the console, writing an internal setting to remember that you watched that video.
go to zelda's option > alt dol : disabled
play zelda.
