I really want to jailbreak my switch but unfortunately I have updated to the 8.0.0 FW.
Is there any updates about SX OS?

8.0 is fine. Atmosphere + sig patches are out.

If you have an unpatched Switch, Atmosphere supports 8.0.0.

If you have a patched Switch, you might never get CFW on your 8.0.0 Switch.

Yea but I think I prefer OS. Is there a big difference between them?

OS stands for operating system, so nobody knows for sure what you're talking about. Do you mean SX OS? I don't recommend using SX OS for various reasons, but if you have to use it, then you need to wait for them to release 8.0.0 support.

Yea I meant SX OS. Why don't you recommend it? Why is Atmosphere better?

There is no SX OS update. Can't help you with that, sorry. Use Atmosphere or wait for an SX OS update, if they bother copying and pasting the Atmosphere 8.X stuff.

Not yet anyways. Nereba only supports firmware 1.0 at the moment and patched units ship with at least firmware 4.1

Ahh good point. Should support 7.1 down the line though. Just wanted to drop some good news.

Not on 8.0.0, and that might not ever happen.

None CFW is betther than other CFW. Me for example use SX OS because is the easier to use. Just plug and play and because they have XCI loading and emunand (It means you can play all your original and online games without worry to get banned on your sysnand and all your CFW stuffs on your emunand.) That atmosphere dont have right now and probably never (Maybe emunand Yes, but who knows).

If you already update to 8.0.0 just wait until TX Team update

Atmo works better with homebrew and sxos has xci loading that lets u play backups without bans

Just buy a second switch and dedicate it to hacking and you your legit switch for when you want online games and want to support the developers. I have 3 switches. Worth it.

I use XCI on usb hdd on SX OS. Does your method work with that?
