Hacking Rgh xbox360 doesn't turn on

Hi there.

After a month of playing wtih my rghxbox360, secently is happening that for some reason the console does't start, like the electricity doesn't reach the xbox360. I have called the shop who modified my console, at first he said the problem is about the electricity cable,and that by well pushing it in the console should work. In fact firstly this was working but a few days ago the console doesn't turn on in anyway. Sometimes, but removing and inserting the cable many tmes, if I am lucky the xbox turn on, but is doing the noise similar to an airplane who is starting to fly. then I am able to play and do everything, but once my I turn off the console, I must pray again that next time will turn on normally, and is happening more rarely with time goes on.

The shop guy said it shouldn't be his fault, what can you guys can tell me?

Try a different power supply to rule it out.

Is the power socket loose on xbox or power supply? Trying to understand why you have to push it in more than normal.

Well, I suppose it loose onn xbox because the power supply is having the orange lite so it should mean that electricity arrive

So orange light and stand by power but console not powering on. If it was powering on before you took it in to shop then its most likely on them.

I have contact the shop guy. They old me that they will remove the rgh chip to see if the problem is caused by the mod or if is a problem natv on my xbox360. This is not exacley convincing me, I am worried hey would ask me more money to repair it. In that case what should I do?

Hello, if you have an xbox 360 fat and the power supply does not change the color of the LED from orange to green it means that the console does not receive power from it.
If the problem were for example a short on the rgh chip the console could show two events:
-the power supply LED would turn red
-the console would turn on but you wouldn't see anything on the screen because the rgh would not initialize the freeboot bootchain.
When the chip and the console returned to normal, without modification, unlike when rgh and glitchers are installed, an error code is shown by the red LEDs light on the front panel and based on this code the problem is diagnosed.
If the console still fails to turn on even from normal it means that it is not receiving voltage and the faulty component can be a mosfet, a shorted capacitor or any other hardware that carries the voltage on the motherboard.
If your xbox randomically start (green led) and bootup freeboot, there is a component on motherboard that is in short or fault.
