Hi Justin, yes that's my goal, busy with getting everything ready, keep in mind that i also want to create a new thread for it because i can't change the name of this thread, it will now become a 2019 theme and not a 2018 one ;) But will post a link to the new thread here and you will definitely see it in the gbatemp post list! The theme is now packed with a lot of easter eggs and compared with the one you can see on youtube it has changed so dramatically in the couple of months, i made everything more clean, more recognizable and more awesome.

This looks really nice. Maybe the home menu screen would look even better if you made pixelart versions of some of the images like the Wiimote since they don't really fit in that well. But still looks very nice overall.
What does it look like in banner mode? That's the mode I prefer and I think it's the most similar to the NES classic layout. Cover view mode doesn't really fit with the theme IMO.

Hi The Real Jdbye, thanks for the feedback. I was thinking of doing a 8 bit version of the wii controller but to maintain also a little bit of the classic wii feel, i kept it but created a version that fits the theme nicely. Keep in mind that the theme on youtube is realy old and a protype, that's why the controller in the video is still the standard white wii controller. Banner mode (my prefered mode also) will be the same as in the video. But unfortunately i don't know how to change the borders to make them more retro, because i need to edit the main system theme, and i don't know how to do that. It's the same with the banner screen (what you will see when clicking on a banner), the bottem side of that screen with the two buttons. And the screen you will see then closing a wii game. Both screens are also internal wii screens and are not themed by USBLoader GX.
I will keep covermode and the spinning mode both in the theme because there will be some people that realy like this mode, but i agree that a different layout would fit the theme better. But to accomplish that somebody has to edit the main structure of USBLoader GX, i wish i could do that but don't know how.

Hmm, it should be possible to mod Dolphin to load those resources from files instead. If someone made a NES classic theme for the System Menu then it would solve the problem too. I don't think it's too hard to make SM themes with tools like MyMenuify.

I will look into it after the release TRJ, saw a lot of custom system menu themes so i only have to figure out the best method. Also keep in mind that this theme is not a 100% NES classic theme, that was not my goal, you can see this theme as a hybrid version of the original NES classic, mixing the original Wii theme with the NES classic. Mixing retro elements with modern elements also makes it more 2019, but that's my view, conclusion, it's hard to create a theme for everybody's liking.
