Hi I just made emunad at 2.5 version of SX OS and have question -> if emunad is marked as enable, if I choice boot to original OS it will boot to emunand original os, or the original OS from nand?

Also another question if I flash 6.2 version to emunand with ChoidujourNX it flash AutoRCM to bootloader of nand?

Also another, I've read some time ago if I recover original nand to switch from the dump there game card reader will not work - is it true?

I thought that when emunand is as enebaled choice as boot to OFW it boots to emunand but without cfw. I asked because i set up sx os yesterday for first time.

If you enable AutoRCM while upgrading your emuNAND with ChoiDuJourNX, autoRCM will NOT be activated on sysNAND but emuNAND, which is useless. It'll only work if you do it on sysNAND.

Yeah,I have the SXOS pro and the payload but Ive never seen that before:/

It is on sx os version 2.5 beta (latest at this moment) i setting you have option to make emunand, i prefer traditional emunad like was on 3ds with hidden partition, but if you choice this option it will wipe content of sd card, so backup your data. Another option is as part of nand (but lots of people have problems with this before, but messing with nand isn't good), there is other option to have emunand as part of sd card in folder - but i do not know how it performs).

So if I copy my entire SD card contents to my desktop, make an emunand with SXOS -itl wipe the entire SD card? Can I then copy everything back onto the card from the desk top?

Where does this emmunand the SXOS make go?

Sorry!

Yes ;) on card only staty licese and sx os after creating emunand -> then copy back content that you backuped -> boot to sx loader, set emunand as enable on main screen and boot to cfw, but as I stated in this thread I do not know what really do booting to oficial firmware when emunand is set as enable, so i will update emunand to 6.2 and will see...

If you are going to chose to boot to official firmware you wouldn't use the jig or SX OS.
You would simply turn on your Switch...

I am talking about ofw via emunand

That doesn't make any sense.

You either use the dongle to boot into CFW or CFW emunand
You don't use the dongle to boot into OFW

If you use the dongle, then decide to boot into OFW you just press the OFW option.

The point of this thread was what sx os is doing when emunand is set enable if it boot to ofw via emunand or from normal nand -> but also booting to normal os it is bit anoying since after reboot to loader it always stays at enabled.

Tested it is normal nand, but ofw via emunand also will be usefull

Normal boot is OFW (so it would be SysNAND)
When you boot SX OS (and marked Emunand) it will boot the EmuNAND

What exactly do you not understand?

What do you even mean "official firmware via emunand"?

Emunand set to "enabled" or "disabled" toggles between booting into emunand or normal nand when you press the CFW option.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
