I’m sure if the bricks were legit then more people would be posting about it in the same manner as the Pokemon bricks, I’m going to sit it out until a scene relase appears

I'm not too sure if I bricked my switch. I enabled autorcm and updated to 5.1.0 to play the smash bros nsp. Everything loaded up and played fine but while I was installing more xci files and cancelled an installation with dopus I got an a system error.
I managed to get it back on again but it turned off and won't boot up.
I'm still new to autorcm and am learning how it works, but I still want to know if I should rule out the possibility of my switch being bricked from the smash bros nap

If you got it to launch and it worked, the smash NSP was fine. Cancelling installations sounds like a bad idea though.

I downloaded the most recent build and it does check something to try legitimise the nsp but I wouldn't rely on it solely for the average user who knows next to nothing it doesn't really give a clear indication. I made it check the smash NSP and it didn't come up all clear but the NSP is fine as far as I know, so yeah and I have 25e.

One issue with RCM is the battery drains quickly while in it.p and charges very slowly. Leave it charging for 6 hours and try again.

If i install an nsp version of the game to an sx os 2.3 sd card emunand then i'm 100% certain my system nand won't be bricked if a potential bricking timebomb goes off?

emunand and sysnad should be seperate , hence why everyone should consider using it.

I don’t think you can be 100% certain of that. Depends if the timebomb was designed with that scenario in mind or not.

at least worth looking into maybe...

nope, it will not protect you just yet (maybe when an sxos stable version comes out)... i tested this out using the pokemon brick nsp and even though i installed it in the sd emunand it still bricked my whole system... you can try it out yourself.

just please have a nand bakup ready
