Thx man. Thougt this will be the problem.
I read a lot of posts with the question "should i update to 5.1.0" and two things i did not understand.
1. Why is it importabt to prevent cartiageslot from update? I can play my original games and roms.
2. Dont burn your fuse. What the hell does this mean?
1) It is important to prevent your cartridge slot from updating if you plan on downgrading back to your original firmware, the reason for this is because if you have a cartridge slot with the update that firmwares 4.0.0 and on contain, then it
will not work on firmwares 3.0.2 or lower. (And as of right now there's no way to downgrade the cartridge slot)
2) Fuses in the switch are an anti-downgrade measure, and with each major update they burn an additional one. (They've burned a total of 8 with the recent 6.2.0 update)
On boot the system checks the total number of burned fuses, and how many
should be burned.
If your currently burned fuses is
less than the expected fuse count, it burns fuses until it matches the expected count, then boots normally.
If your currently burned fuses
matches the expected fuse count, it boots normally.
If your currently burned fuses is
more than the expected fuse count, it panics and shuts down (cannot boot unless using a bootloader disabling fuse checks in this case).
People advise to make a (clean) Nand+Boot0/1 backup at your stock firmware, and then to avoid burning your fuses by using a combination of autoRCM+bootloader (to prevent burning fuses) and choidujourNX (for unofficially updating, while maintaining RCM) to update without changing your fuse count.
This way, should a more powerful vulnerability be found for lower firmwares, you could downgrade back to your stock firmware with your Nand+Boot0/1 backup.
