Hi Switch Friends

I tryed to play Mario Party on my Switch 3.0.1 but a error apears right befor the end of loading the game in sx os. Could not read card.
Every other game works fine.
Is it because the low firmware?

Is there a list wit all games and the min required firmware? Would be greate.

Thx to all
B

I generally check nswdb.com for firmware requirements, but they don't include all titles so you may need to search other places too.
Super Mario Party requires a minimum of 5.1.0.
Thx man. Thougt this will be the problem.
I read a lot of posts with the question "should i update to 5.1.0" and two things i did not understand.

1. Why is it importabt to prevent cartiageslot from update? I can play my original games and roms.

2. Dont burne your fuse. What the hell does this mean?

1) It is important to prevent your cartridge slot from updating if you plan on downgrading back to your original firmware, the reason for this is because if you have a cartridge slot with the update that firmwares 4.0.0 and on contain, then it will not work on firmwares 3.0.2 or lower. (And as of right now there's no way to downgrade the cartridge slot)

2) Fuses in the switch are an anti-downgrade measure, and with each major update they burn an additional one. (They've burned a total of 8 with the recent 6.2.0 update)
On boot the system checks the total number of burned fuses, and how many should be burned.
If your currently burned fuses is less than the expected fuse count, it burns fuses until it matches the expected count, then boots normally.
If your currently burned fuses matches the expected fuse count, it boots normally.
If your currently burned fuses is more than the expected fuse count, it panics and shuts down (cannot boot unless using a bootloader disabling fuse checks in this case).

People advise to make a (clean) Nand+Boot0/1 backup at your stock firmware, and then to avoid burning your fuses by using a combination of autoRCM+bootloader (to prevent burning fuses) and choidujourNX (for unofficially updating, while maintaining RCM) to update without changing your fuse count.
This way, should a more powerful vulnerability be found for lower firmwares, you could downgrade back to your stock firmware with your Nand+Boot0/1 backup.

Why should some one go back? If this is the only reason, then i can update to 5.1.0? Or what are the other problems, if i upgrade from 3.0.1 to 5.1.0?

Will the original games still work after upgrade?

Firmwares 1.0.0-3.0.1 are the only ones where theoretical software-only coldboot may be achieved, with 1.0.0 being the most likely.
While 4.0.0-6.1.0 (Someone correct me if I'm wrong on that range) is known to have a warmboot entrypoint.
If you're not interested in either of these things then in your case there's not much point in preserving your fuses or going back.
Or what are the other problems, if i upgrade from 3.0.1 to 5.1.0?
I use a different cfw, but I've updated with ChoiNX from 2.2.0 to 5.1.0 with no issues so far. Homebrew and applications work fine from what I've tried.

I don't have experience with SXOS, but more than likely yes.
If you're really worried you could prevent fuse burning and temporarily update to 5.1.0 to test your setup. Then if it doesn't work you could downgrade back to 3.0.1.
