I have installed a few NSPs including hbmenu with sxos and after a while they stopped working telling me "
The software closed because a problem occured".
If i reinstall them they work for a short period

I got the same problem and I found out it was because I'm banned. Putting the switch in airplane mode for a few games fixed.
Cities skyline and prison architect played fine in airplane mode

if it works for awhile then failed to work again, means some files got corrupted, mostly like due to fake microsd??

Might be the way SXOS installs those nsps. They always end up being corrupt, if you test them in software management section of Horizon. For me, they still work fine, but your situation might be different. Try using tinfoil instead to install them (no corrupt installation), or even devmenu if you're below firmware 6.

This is probably due to exfat card format, if you want to use any homebrew nsp's its recommended to use fat32, also now with the ability to split large nsp files there's absolutely no reason to be using exfat, unless you want your files to get corrupted randomly as they are getting corrupted now.

Edit: just noticed you're using sx os, if thats the case then follow what the person above my comment said.

Except for that fact that numerous users, including me, have been using exfat for months and havent had any corruption what so ever. Most exfat corruption is due to the brand of micro sd card and user error.
