It runs at 30, was confirmed long ago.

btw, cant wait to see DF analisys on this port, plus all the frame and resolution drops it may have :P
So, I know DS had issues on initial release. However they've had some time to polish it and optimize it. We've got Doom and Wolfenstein 2 running rather decently and they're more intensive than that. Maybe I have unrealistic expectations. i don't know anymore.

Unrealistic, or you may be just too positive. The game doesnt even run at locked 60 fps on both ps4/one.

are they really doing their hourly tests again ? Oh Nintendo. Everybody else does it 3 days straight and Nintendo does it only a couple of hours like with Splatoon. How backwards can they be
What are you blaming Nintendo for, that's all on Bamco.

Pretty sure that is on Nintendo seeing they already did this a couple of times with other games.
How is Nintendo in any way responsible for a game they do NOT own the rights to ? It's also not like they're the only ones doing this, nor have they been the first.

it's on their network no ? Also don't see these hourly tests on other platforms. Only on Nintendo consoles. Also when you bring out a game on a certain platform then the platform holder can hold restrictions. Back in the SNES days Nintendo even held a lot of games hostage on their system back in the SNES days so yeah they can implement stuff like that. Nintendo routinely used their market position to prevent third parties from making ports of NES titles for other competing consoles like the master system. You made a game for the NES, that was it- it didn't appear anywhere else.

Omfg who the hell cares at this point??? The trilogy is going to be released on ps4 and xbone same day.
People who want it portably care? If you want the best resolution and framerate you'll play it on PC. The switch caters to people who want it on the go. The ps4 and xbone versions have nothing they do the best.

Why would a single player game need a network test?
The dark souls games have always had their online play as a big selling point. Players are supposed to choose to help or hinder each other by leaving hints and cooping, or by invading others to stop them.

Yeah, the wait is killing me.
I don't know why they don't show anything.
A screenshot, some piece of music, any kind of tease, anything!

We call that a dick move from the devs.
I swear, if the game has been finished all summer and they just sat on it to hold out for the Trilogy release, I will personally kick every developer in that bitch square in the nuts.

They just pulled a Bioware bullshit move like they did with Mass Effect 3 on Wii U, bunch of douchebags. I hope their games get pirated.

i thought everybody knew cocktails are like 75% ice
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Yeah but not like this.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's not like they're complaining that their Slurpee is 99% ice or something, but if the cocktail calls for "shot of vodka, shot of vermouth, shot of gin, shot of Campari, three shots of juice, squirt of lemon" and ends up being a thimbleful of booze, that's a problem.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
the funny thing is cocktails in norway are only allowed to have 1 20ml shot of booze
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    so..... yeah
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
we're used to only having a thimbleful of booze

    Booo.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
same thing if you want whisky on the rocks or something, you can't get a double
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but you could buy as many shots of whisky (or anything else) as you want and ask for a glass of ice and pour them in
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    it's dumb
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Maybe.
  • Veho @ Veho:
There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.
  • Veho @ Veho:
But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".
  • Veho @ Veho:
Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Usually accidentally overdose of ibuprofen here is from people taking like cold medicine then ibuprofen for a headache and the combination is over what they need
