I know this is really nitpicky and probably answered already with a "no", but is there any way to just port a lot of the english dialogue from Generations to Double Cross? I know it's not really something people care about, but I like to read what characters are saying, gives a lot more personality to the world.

Sure there is a way but its not been done due to copyright reasons, might as well play through Gen and use Homebrew to move over to XX.
Gen script in XX isn't going to give you anything worth reading once you hit the XX only content.

It was a "security improvement update" but also introduced a connection error bug when playing over WiFi, is recommended to search by friends or join a room ID, I think I read someone else mention searching by a specific monster gets around the bug as well.
Well, if they have, they sure took their sweet time... 1.3 brought an annoying bug where you can't find halls 99% of the time if you search using general settings, having to look for halls based on monster hunted or by hall ID to get past it, so it was only a matter of time until they fixed it.
Any idea where I can get the 1.4 update from though? It's not on FreeShop for me, CIAngel is being shit at looking up via IDs, so I don't know what to do...
so i finally had a look at the 1.4.0 update. It does NOT require any update on the patch. BUT if you use the CIA method you need to repack with the new update, because the exefs and dynamic libraries have changed.
Did but it still only got the 1.2. Also, too late now, FreeShop, CIAngel and Villain3DS have all shut down, let's see how things are gonna be in the dystopia that is 3DS pirating nowadays... I only need the update and since the update files are free, they are legal to post because free to download things don't count as warez really, so if anyone can send me the 1.4 update CIA, I'd appreciate it.
