Hi,
I have a hacked New 2ds XL
I followed the guide correctly. I used Seedminer with Sudoku, and have boot9strap and Luma3ds
But one day I rebooted to an error (I can't post a hyperlink for some reason)
I panicked while trying to fix it and somehow completely deleted FIRM1 (I think that's what that partition is called).
I looked almost everywhere for solutions, but I think I'm doomed for two reasons.
  • I accidentally deleted my backup
  • I can't remember what I was doing before the first error.
I got it as a birthday present and only had it for like, 6 days.
Also sorry if I posted in the wrong place, I'm a newbie to GBAtemp.

Well, as far as I know... NTRBoot (the flashcard thingy hack) is your only salvation in conjuction with Lazarus3DS.
I'm not qualified to tell you how to do it, since I never use Lazarus3DS to recover any console from a brick like this.

Also (don't quote me on this) I thing you can launch the Lazarus3DS script with the Luma Chainloader. I dunno, and I would love to be incorrect with this, since from what I've listened, Lazarus3DS has the power of kill the console if used incorrectly.

Did you read the last part?
If it's not true what I stated, then you would need one, so anyway… you should have one.
If not, then I don't know of any other method to fix your brick.
Oh, sorry, I wasn't sure what you meant by the 'luma chainloader'
I'm stupid

Oh, sorry.
Is what appears when you keep pressed Select when you turned of the console.
You should follow these steps and have this requirements:
  • Requirements
  1. A method to boot GodMode9.firm, be that NTRBootHax, hard mod, or pre-installed hack.

  2. The following files:
    1. Prepared donor ctrnand.bin, nand_hdr.bin, twln.bin, twlp.bin files & SHAs for your console (o3DS / n3DS + USA / EUR / JPN + retail / dev).

    2. A clean sector0x96.bin, boot9strap.bin, sighax_hdr.bin & SHA for your type of console (retail / dev).

    3. A copy of twlmbr.bin & SHA.
  3. A copy of Luma3DS named as luma.firm & GodMode9 v1.4+ named as boot.firm.
  • Setup
  1. Copy the the files listed in Requirements (section 2) for your console type and region plus their SHA files to a folder on the root of your SD card called pit.

  2. Copy Lazarus3DS.gm9 to your SD:/gm9/scripts/ folder.

  3. Copy Luma3DS as luma.firm to the root of your SD card.

  4. Copy GodMode9 as boot.firm to the root of your SD card.
  • Instructions
  1. Boot GodMode9 any method you can.

  2. Press HOME, go to Scripts and run Lazarus3DS.

  3. Provide input to unlock sysNAND writing and wait while the files are verified against their SHAs.

  4. Once Lazarus3DS finishes the script will make Luma3DS the new boot.firm, copy Luma3DS to NAND, install boot9strap, remove all Lazarus3DS support files and restart the 3DS.
