Yesterday, I was looking for old switches in my local tech store and I found a Switch with the SN XAJ40050X.
Since this is actually the first time I encountered that SN I'm pretty sure this is a patched unit as well.
Don't have the cash to buy patched consoles tho!

i'm in the usa, and i just ordered one of amazon
according to them the serial is XAW700163, so ive got my fingers crossed it works like yours.
I have an XAJ4004 that I bought last week here in Bangkok. My SX Pro should arrive either tomorrow, or Monday.
Anyway, I can't find a serial number on the box. There is a QR code inside the box (haven't scanned it), but there is definitely no serial number like in the numerous pictures I've seen uploaded to this thread.
Is this (no SN on box) something new?

You can use TegraRCMSmash now to test whether your console is patched or not, no need to wait for sx
Can you provide him with some instructions on how to do it. Also, Is this the process were you have to use paper foil to cover the pins?
Many people might be interested on this while they wait for their SX PRO.

How you cover the pins is up to you, most use a jig, you can also use a paperclip, a wire, etc.
And I feel like there are already enough detailed methods out there on how to do it
