Hacking Is sx os safe or wait for atmosphere?

So you can self ban yourself.
You can remove all internet settings.

The method I'd use to remain undetected would be to make a NAND backup with internet settings removed first before you do anything with SX OS.
Use SX OS as per usual (Remain disconnected from the internet,no game updates) - Note you dont have to use flight mode if you are disconnected from your wifi,but you can use it as a safety measure.
When you want to go back to OFW, reload nand backup you made before SX OS was loaded(before you do this,you can use checkpoint to save your saved games).Take MicroSD out before you load OFW (I would save my stuff from there to PC and format it as a fresh card)

Than do whatever you want to do on OFW as you would use a switch that's not hacked.
When you want to use SX OS again,disconnect from the internet and make a new backup (so you have all your logs of official saved in the newest nand back for restoration later).

Rinse and repeat above steps for now.Cant guarantee it wont get you banned,but seems the safest for now

Then you will never hack your switch because there is always luck involved. Even hacking a 3DS these days, there is a microscopic chance of something going wrong. Longer you wait the lower the chance of something going wrong.

Hey everyone! Remember Ocarina of Time 2? Great game. My personal favorite is Ocarina of Time 4. I loved being forced to use the touch screen to make Link move.

Atmosphere is going to be safer, however it ain't so dangerous to be in SX OS. Just stay offline when possible.

Hey everyone! It's Darth Meteos' super sneaky way to update legally backed-up games!

Go into SX OS for the first time, and boot your games, so they're on the menu. SX OS spoofs the cartridge, so they'll stay there even when they're not mounted!
Reset into OFW! If you're using AutoRCM, hold + when you activate the payload to get to the SX OS menu, and boot into official firmware!

Your carts will still be there, but unplayable. Connect to a nearby WiFi source. Press + while hovering over one of them and select Software Update via internet, and all the titles that require updating will update! After that, delete your internet settings and BOOM! All your carts are updated, and since the 'cart' wasn't in the console and Nintendo's only getting the update from their server, you'll be just fine!

Enjoy your updated games!

They can ban certificates/headers if they are used outside of the game they are dumped from in order to play dumps online. They can also ban accounts but those are rare and limited to severe offences.

LayeredFS caused a vast majority of the bans. Haven't heard anybody report a ban for using DevMenu alone although if you have that information, you can share it here.
