Can some one explain to me what the difference is between level and unlocked abilites?

Does any body know if it is safe to remove weapons i dont like? im wondering if that is suspicious as splanet seems to know what weapons and freshness rating i have?

How come every time I use this program my Switch eventually says Splatoon 2 has corrupted data? How can I avoid this?

I used checkpoint and I used the latest version from a month ago (the last time I used Homebrew and splathex was last month). I forgot the version number.

So has anyone edited their level? Came back to splatoon after a few months and dont have the motivation to slowly progress and unlock all the weapons. Not interested in rank edits, just want to know if it's relatively safe to do level edits. Currently at level 41. Thanks.

I think you'll get banned for that because your level is tied to you playing online. Same goes for rank.

You can buy every weapon aside from hero ones and octo one after reaching level 30 though.

So I'm thinking about picking up this game soon. Seeing that this save editor exists, I'd like to use it to cut out big chunks of grinding. Such as editing money, chunks etc. I don't plan to edit my character, stats, weapons, levels or anything else. Just currencies and materials. I know it's been asked before in the past, but as of the latest patch, has anyone been banned after just doing that? I want to see if it's worth picking up and using this editor, seeing as the game is pretty pointless without online. I just hate grinding for crap.
