It wiped my atmosphere/titles empty so I couldnt start homebrew anymore and my /roms and corrupted some /switch nros
My SD card is formatted to exFat and did the same thing. It specifically broke nx-shell and on other occassions made me have to replace the basic things needed to boot into cfw. Is this anything fixable down the road?

Everything you mentioned also happened to me. Just gotta format from exfat to fat.

Casual reminder; Hekate loader is pre-beta software. This is something that comes with the territory.
Expect fixes when Atmosphere is actually out.

how well does the psx emu work?

Barely. No sound and it's slow because (like what's been said before) it's an accuracy-based core being brute-forced to run on an ARM device. Exists purely as PoC until the other PSX core for ARM gets the libNX treatment.
I feel like this needs to be added to the FAQ...

Thank you.
Kinda didn't see it coming though.
Gotta test that new build out :switch:
Actually not sure if I built it w/o the widescreen hack now lol, just gonna go to bed :/

I think hekate is actually released, but I don't think this issue is related to hekate at all. But who knows.

But you are probably right about the time frame

More questions for the FAQ:
  • Where should I put the PSX BIOS?
It doesn't matter where you put it. Just make sure that your RetroArch config has the BIOS directory set to whatever folder you have your files.
  • How well do PlayStation games work?
Not quite. There's no audio ATM, and as the Beetle-PSX core is accuracy-based and is forced to run on an ARM-based device, it won't run at full speed all the time. It might be worth trying out/waiting for a port of the PCSX-ReARMed core.
  • Can I use the GB/GBC BIOS with RetroArch?
Of course, you can use both in Gambatte. Again, just make sure your RetroArch config has the BIOS directory set to whatever folder you put your files in. Please be aware that some games may need the BIOS option turned off for them to load.

It could be a matter of a bug in the exFat code, perhaps from libnx side.
Though I haven't peeked at Hekate's code yet to see what it does with the SD cards.
And given how Pegaswitch screws up with some of the features, it's unlikely to narrow it down by comparing the Hekate method with Pegaswitch's.

You and I are suffering about lacking of support on these emulators. Because we’re both on 3.0.0
So I think it’s something related to pegaswitch to prevent them to work.

About 3.0.0 maybe will gonna get coldboot. Don’t force yourself to upgrade.

@m4xw
Nope, the new build still has the fullscreen hack.
Welp, I guess I'm going to manually turn it off and recompile it by myself now. Also, NRO Asset Editor won't even let me import an icon and change the app title, damnit.
