Oh hey its my build! (just joined)

@the_randomizer I don't know if there is a actual difference. I stuck with the snes9x version from the reswitched repo, as well as their RetroArch build.

Since I didn't know their switch specific changes, I didn't want to break things.

Maybe I will find time on the weekend to provide some patches, this was just a quick build because I was in the mood for some juicy SNES emulation.

AFAIK this build supports no HW accel and only 1 CPU core, but it's enough!
Sweet thanks soo much it works great!! Fullscreen would be super sweet :P

Super awesome. I'll keep my eye on this thread for updates/patches.
Thank you for porting this! The end user is very hungry for Retroarch to be completed + Atmosphere, anything to tide us over while we wait is a blessing, despite my frustration with the quick port, I do appreciate you for your efforts!

Well, i m just following up what the devs have said, the lower the better. On top of that, snes is the only thing I couldnt run on 4.1 so far so i ll just wait for a 4.1 release, got lots of stuffs to mess around already
You will still be able to use atmosphere on 5.0.x you will just need a jig, if you have no issues with that then no reason not to "switch"

The devs should stop using libtransistor already and switch to libnx...

This is only a update to existing code thats not maintained by me. If you feel like its so easy (didn't take a look at that issue yet), go ahead and do a pull request.

I will look at libnx / retroarch over the weekend and decide what needs to be done.

Lol, the amount of releases that say don't update for this is getting funny. At some point the total becomes updating for even if the single isn't.

It's just that many dev's that do releases, have updated consoles.

I don't have a 4x System, nor a 4x Image to which I could temporary downgrade to (pretty sure that should be a option, tethered nontheless)

I believe we will still be able to use briccmii so this jig thing wont be a issue to none of the fw. Tested it on 4.1 and it works flawlessly. However, i also like to play the switch games and since briccmii gets you straigh to the rcm and hetake cant load horizon, i m still not using briccmii. Anyways, i ll just sit down ans wait for a snes emulator for 4.1 . Unless theres something big for 5xx , i m staying right where i m, till the devs say its alright to update it

@Twistedziefer I have this strange feeling you and I have worked before on a previous project involving the PS4. Possibly with remote play and PS4

If so very happy to see you here also well aware of your work.

All the best and thanks for you contribution.
