You should add a feature that generates a TIK file along with the CIA.
Since the secret value is known,it should be possible.

It is already possible, the QRcode in description of each game is actually links to the URL of .cetk file (from version 2.4.8, FBI treats .cetk as regular ticket files). You should add a feature that generates a TIK file along with the CIA.

It's basically fine, I just forgot to change the version number on latest version. Too lazy to rebuild all the packages without any new features.I got an error that said Opps Something went wrong. I downloaded the newest build
v0.1.3-2 but when I extract it and went to info tab it still say v0.1.3-1
Everytime I run Villain3DS I get an erroor Oops. Something is wrong. An error has occurred and can't do anything. It's basically fine, I just forgot to change the version number on latest version. Too lazy to rebuild all the packages without any new features.
If you're using a shortcut from Desktop, you should recheck the directory of extracted villain3ds 7z file, it's slightly different (Villain3DS-win32-x64 and villain3ds-win32-x64 for example). I'm sorry for the inconvinent.Everytime I run Villain3DS I get an erroor Oops. Something is wrong. An error has occurred and can't do anything.
Thanks.
What I ended up doing was deleted my v0.1-31 and extracted the v0.1.3-2 and it worked, but when I go to info it say that it's v0.1.2 and the latest version is v0.1.3-2. Could it be that the Villain3DS-v0.1.3-2-win32-x64.7z is not updated in the github? I have redownloaded Villain3DS-v0.1.3-2-win32-x64.7z many times already. If you're using a shortcut from Desktop, you should recheck the directory of extracted villain3ds 7z file, it's slightly different (Villain3DS-win32-x64 and villain3ds-win32-x64 for example). Nope, the version is right because it's working (not "Oops. Something is wrong"), just the version number is wrong because of me.What I ended up doing was deleted my v0.1-31 and extracted the v0.1.3-2 and it worked, but when I go to info it say that it's v0.1.2 and the latest version is v0.1.3-2. What do you mean? If you want to filter to show only EU-titles then go to Config in the app then choose the region setting. Is there anyway to force a refresh? The title key site just had an EU version of a game added but its not showing in the app.

I indeed forgot to add new titles. Your game should show now, please check again.I mean a game was added to the 3DS titles site today, the EU version of Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux . However it doesn't show in villain3ds.
Villain3DS also downloads from the Nintendo CDN so the files will be the same as from Freeshop. As for 3rd party sites, it's impossible to know for sure how or where they got their files from.Is there any difference between files that have been downloaded from freeShop, Villain3DS and CIA's from 3rd party sites?
My friend would like to use a VPN for the download, so he can hide his IP.
That would be possible for Villain3DS and 3rd party sites, but he is feeling uncomfortable with directly downloading from Nintendo's CDN.
I would appreciate any help!

One would imagine so, but it doesn't really seem like they care if they can (for the 3DS and Wii U, anyway. The Switch is another story)What about transmitted information with Villain3DS? If you download from freeShop Nintendo can see your Hardware-ID, Serial number and all of that stuff, right? A Windows PC doesn't have such a number.
Shouldn't Nintendo be able to see that someone downloaded something from their servers with a non-Nintendo system?

All games data from CDN is encrypted and useless unless you have a valid title key for the game you're trying to install. So it's not surprising they don't care so much about who is downloading those games from CDN.What about transmitted information with Villain3DS?
