Code of Princess EX announced for Nintendo Switch

Publisher Nicalis will be bringing Studio Saizenhen's new game to the Nintendo Switch. Titled Code of Princess EX, this will be an HD revamp to the 2012 3DS beat-em-up game Code of Princess. It'll release both physically and digitally on the Switch, and will feature new remastered visuals, better AI, and a general overhaul to the level-up system. The trailer states the game has 50 playable characters, as well as a local multiplayer mode. Code of Princess EX will release sometime this summer, and will cost $39.99.

The trailer looks fun, never played it on the 3DS. I dont' think I'd be willing to drop 40 for it though. Maybe 30. I'd more than likely would pick it up for 25 based on reviews.

Well, I enjoyed the game and I don't mind picking it up again. I think the best spot would have been $30, but whatever. Hopefully this means the sequel will end up on the Switch too.

Also looking forward to Blade Strangers.
Actually no, almost forgot about the pay online coming up.

Since Guardian Heroes (Sega Saturn version) Is my favorite game of all time. I was so hyped for this spiritual successor on 3DS. But yeah it ran so slow in comparison I could never get further than a couple of hours in.

Really hope Switch version fixes this, so glad to see an improved version appear. Failing that.. and I know Saturn was difficult to Emulate but seeing it in the Retroarch list got me excited to test for portable play.
