Ys: Memories of Celceta to get PC port

The once-exclusive RPG for the PlayStation Vita, Ys: Memories of Celceta will be making its way to the PC platform soon. There's no specific release date at the time of writing, but it's scheduled for release before the end of 2018. This was revealed via XSEED's livestream today, where English Detective Mysteria and Senran Kagura Re:Newal were also announced. Not to be confused with the Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana PC port, XSEED will be in charge this time, not NIS America. The Memories of Celceta port will also have improvements on the PC, such as mouse and keyboard support, an unlocked framerate, support for HD resolutions, and changeable control bindings.

Knowing nothing but his name, Adol Christin awakens to find himself in the town of Casnan, a bustling frontier village at the edge of an endless sea of trees and untamed wilderness. Bereft of past and purpose, he is left to wander the town until a thief who claims to know him winds up joining him on a sudden mission to rid the local mine of monsters. This unexpected quest reawakens Adol’s instincts as an accomplished swordsman, and together with the thief Duren, his adventures attract the attention of a Romun Army general stationed in the town. Impressed with their skills, she enlists the pair to assist in mapping the Great Forest of Celceta – a task which many have attempted but none have ever returned from. Far from the frontier’s edge, Adol and Duren will have to brave the dangers of Celceta while constantly keeping an eye out for any clues that may help Adol recover his lost memories. More importantly, he must use his best judgment to decide whom he can trust and who is using his memory loss in order to deceive him…

There already is PC port in china. It's even half-playable in english.
probably a different port, much like the Ys seven ports, xseed's port doesnt have so many crashes and doesnt lack effects, so i guess it'll be the same for Ys 4: MoC

This is great news! I still have the Chinese port, which isn't terrible, per se, but it really could use some improvements, and XSEED does a good job on their ports.

Now if Lacrimosa of Dana would release sometime this year, we could honestly say we've gotten almost all of the Ys series on PC, with the exception of Ys V. I really hope they remake that one again. I heard the PS2 version wasn't very good.
